We used to undertake one time as well as an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for Cleaning Water Storage Tanks as per the municipality rules. This service is provided with all Buildings, Hotels, Villas, Shopping Malls, and Labour Camps.

Water is considered one of the most important elements of life. We drink, wash, cook with it. We must provide a healthy environment to store it by cleaning and disinfecting the tanks at least every 6 months to avoid disease caused by bacteria that are found in water tanks. If neglected water systems can be the perfect breeding ground for harmful bacteria that can spread disease.

Most of us hope that the water inside the tank is clean, safe, and treated with chlorine by the municipal water authority. Yet, what we don't know is, what is inside the water tank when it is very seldom visited, checked, and cleaned especially when the cover is open or missing. Guess! Well, What commonly found inside are a dead bird, lizard, and variety of dead insects, and sometimes-dead rats!

With the presence of dead creatures inside the tank, the water is surely contaminated with harmful bacteria that can cause serious infection and illness to one's health. Though the water is mainly used only for washing and bathing purposes we are still subjected to sustain the effect of the contamination because our body skin pores sip in liquid. HOW WE DO IT?

First, we thoroughly inspect the tank for any abnormalities like leakage, missing cover, and so on and report to the client then after placing all our protective measures and safety gadget we go inside the empty tank and remove foreign objects or things then scrub brush the wall surface with an approved detergent solution to remove dirt, slime, and algae. Rinse with water remove filthy water scrub again with a solution of mild detergent and disinfectant to eliminate bacteria then rinse with plenty of water remove dirty water and then lastly to wipe dry the wall surfaces.

METHOD OF WORK

We will chemically clean and disinfect tanks to remove all the above and almost all of the staining inside the tank. Before the discharge of wastewater after chemical cleaning, we test the pH of the water in accordance with Dubai Municipality and Environmental discharge regulations. (DM Approval No:00018) Wastewater is discharged only after the required standards are met.

 

Recommendation:
We recommend that you are turn off the incoming water supply in sufficient time prior to our arrival depending upon the use to minimize water wastage. Our scope of work will include emptying any balances of the water not emptied by you and we will chemically clean and disinfect the tank(s). During the time of cleaning the water supply will be interrupted during cleaning operations.

 

Certification:
Upon completion, we will issue you a cleaning certificate and an After Water test certificate (Biological test) which carry photographs before during, and after which highlight any problem areas and advice of any defects requiring attention. (Report is normally ready in approximately 7 working days.).This certificate is valid for 6/12 months.
